Special thanks to this year's conference sponsors for their generosity and support!
"While the workshops were helpful individually, the best part of the conference was the sum of its parts - the inspiration of seeing what's happening around the country and all the great work leaders are putting into their chapters. And just the chance to informally meet and mingle with other leaders." – 2007 YNPN Leaders Conference Participant We're looking forward to seeing you at the 2008 YNPN Leaders Conference at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. This year's conference promises to be an enriching two days of networking, learning and sharing! Read on for detailed information regarding the conference schedule, workshop submission process, registration, travel, lodging and more: Where should I check in for the conference? If you are arriving on Friday, please check in on the third floor of Robert Morris College (Note: the college is entirely located within one building so we'll be hard to miss!). Registration will officially open at 12:30p at which time lunch will also be served. If you are arriving on Saturday morning, please check in at Room 8005 of the DePaul Center at DePaul University. Who should I contact if I have questions during the weekend? If you have any questions about the conference prior to Thursday, April 10th, please continue to email us at leadersconference@ynpn.org and we will respond as soon as possible. After Thursday, April 10th, please feel free to contact Trish via cell phone at 215.510.3270 if you have any pressing questions. What is the schedule for the weekend? Click here for the Friday conference schedule and a description of the National Voice Forum topics. Click here for the Saturday conference schedule along with full workshop descriptions. Are there social activities planned? Our local hosts, YNPN-Chicago, have done an amazing job of organizing opportunities for Leaders Conference attendees to mix and mingle outside of the conference. On Friday evening, conference attendees are invited to join us at Plymouth Grill and Restaurant for a light appetizer reception from 6-8pm. The Plymouth Grill is within walking distance of the conference location and features a heated rooftop for folks to enjoy. On Saturday evening, conference attendees are once again invited to join us at Elephant & Castle to celebrate the close of the conference. Light appetizers will be served. For more information about activities to check out throughout the city as well as information about using public transportation, local restaurants, and more, check out "YNPN Chicago's Guide to Getting around and Fun in Chicago". YNPN will be reimbursing participants for the amounts requested during the registration as long as proper documentation is provided. Please bring this form (word | pdf) along with all receipts to the conference where we will be collecting this information. All reimbursements will be mailed to participants following after the conference. What about transportation? The two conference centers are within one block of each other. The conference locations are one block west of Michigan Ave, which is a few blocks west of Lake Michigan.
