• GuideStar  
  GuideStar is a searchable database of more than 620,000 nonprofit organizations in the United States. The GuideStar web site is produced by Philanthropic Research, Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 1994. GuideStar's mission is to help improve the effectiveness of the nonprofit sector through the collection and presentation of comprehensive information about nonprofit organizations.

  "A web site and family of mailing lists, serving a population of some low tens of thousands of people in the Bay Area and beyond.  Its basically a community bulletin board, where people use craigslist to perform down-to-earth, everyday tasks like:  finding a job, selling a sofa, finding a place to live, finding a roommate.  Currently, craigslist has nearly 8000 subscribers, and receives nearly three million page views per month."
• Excess Access

  Complete, highly integrated library for nonprofits and for-profits.  
• Leader to Leader Institue (Drucker Foundation)  
  The mission of the Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management is "to lead social sector organizations toward excellence in performance." It is not a grant-making organization. The site contains articles by respected thought leaders on leadership and management, and presents information on Drucker Foundation conferences, the Drucker Innovation Award, and the Hesselbein Community Innovation Fellows program.
• Media Alliance
  Media Alliance is a 29 year-old media resource and advocacy center for media workers, non-profit organizations, and social justice activists. Our mission is excellence, ethics, diversity, and accountability in all aspects of the media in the interests of peace, justice, and social responsibility.
• Free Management Library
  "This library is a community resource to be shared and contributed to by the public. The overall goal of the library is to provide basic, how-to management information to managers -- particularly those with very limited resources. • Media Alliance
