About the Do Gooder Games

The Do Gooder Games is the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Austin’s biggest and best event. The Games is a fast-paced event with thirteen teams of local nonprofit employees competing in two rounds of fun mental and physical challenges. The elimination-style competition pares down ten teams to two that will compete in a super nonprofit smartypants winner-takes-all death match. The champion team receives a grand prize of $500 that will go to their charity of choice.

Last year's team registration filled to capacity immediately, and included teams from ten nonprofit organizations from the greater Austin area. The Do Gooder Games will be almost as much fun to watch as to play, so spectators are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Call for Volunteers

Let me guess? You’re such a do gooder that you don’t feel right just having fun without helping out? Great! The Do Gooder Games needs volunteers on game night. Volunteers will help prepare one of the physical challenges for the final round. Don’t worry, you won’t get dirty or hurt! We also need brave volunteers willing to be on stand-by in case a team needs a fill-in member to compete. If you want to be involved as a volunteer, please RSVP to CherylL@gsctx.org
