| Join YNPNdc members and 5,500 other volunteers on Saturday, September 11th from 8:30am-12:30pm for the 9/11 National Day of Service & Remembrance. Together we will rekindle the spirit of service felt by so many on September 12th, 2001, participating in a project that will benefit seniors, children, military families, first responders, or other members of our community. We will also have the opportunity to write letters thanking military members overseas for their service to the US and to reflect on what 9/11 has meant to us. YNPNdc will select a Metro-accessible project when this option becomes available in August. And if we have 25 people on our team by August 6th, Greater DC Cares will print "YNPNdc" on our event t-shirts! This is a great opportunity to meet other YNPN members while we strengthen the DC area nonprofit community. There is a $25/person registration fee for this event that shares in the programming costs of the event (paint, ladders, brushes, etc) and includes your event t-shirt and snacks/water.
